Common questions
Do I need an iPhone?
For new customers, start with the iOS app today. Web-only signup and subscriptions are coming soon. Existing customers can sign in to their notebook on the web, and existing Pro works with the same account.
What happens when an iOS trial ends?
Your Apple subscription automatically renews at the displayed price when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel in Apple’s subscription settings. Your Free records remain available if Pro expires.
Is there a team plan?
No. OperatorOS is currently designed for one retail leader with a private account and private data.
Do I need my company to buy it?
No. OperatorOS is designed for an individual manager of one location or several who is permitted to choose a personal work tool. Continue using every system your employer requires, and only store information you are allowed to retain.
Can I use my own AI assistant?
Yes. The Pro AI Connector uses MCP so a supported assistant can retrieve the OperatorOS records you authorize. If you separately grant write access, it can record metrics, create commitments, and append visit or people notes when you ask. Writes retain their source and receipt.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. For subscriptions purchased in the iOS app, manage monthly and yearly plans through your Apple ID. Your Plan in the web notebook shows the available options.
Is Apple Watch capture included in Free?
No. Recording from Apple Watch, transcription, and AI-generated work summaries are OperatorOS Pro features. Your recording remains available for recovery if processing is interrupted.
Will setup start my trial?
No. A trial starts only after an eligible new subscriber confirms it on Apple’s purchase sheet.
