OperatorOS v3.3 Product Update
March 11, 2026 · 4 min read
A summary of what shipped in OperatorOS over the last two weeks. This covers the iOS app (v3.3), the Android port, the Interview Assistant standalone app, and the web dashboard.
Daily Brief — Promoted to Bottom Nav
The AI Daily Brief now has its own tab in the bottom navigation bar, replacing the Commitments tab (commitments moved to the More screen). This makes the brief one tap away from anywhere in the app.
Completable Action Items
Each recommended action in the brief is now a tappable checkbox. Marking an item complete strikes it through and dims it. Completed items are persisted locally and excluded from future brief generations — the AI won't re-suggest something you've already handled.
Smart Cache & Background Pre-Loading
The brief now caches for 12 hours. If you mark an action complete, the cache is flagged dirty and regenerates on next open. For Pro subscribers, the brief pre-loads in the background on app launch so it's ready before you tap the tab.
Android Port
The Android app is code-complete. Built with Kotlin Multiplatform and Jetpack Compose, it covers all 11 phases of the iOS app: 41 screens, 20 data models, 13 repositories, 9 AI features, Firebase sync, and a home screen widget. Remaining work: wiring AI buttons to the live API, Play Billing integration, and CameraX for photos.
Interview Assistant — Standalone App
Interview Assistant is now its own app on the App Store. It includes audio recording with live transcription, AI analysis (Claude Sonnet 4), structured interview guides with PDF import, manager feedback, hiring decisions, and PDF report export. It shares a Pro subscription with OperatorOS — one subscription unlocks both apps.
Team Management Updates
Task Assignments & Delegation
Tasks can now be assigned to any store manager by name — no OperatorOS account required. When that person later joins and connects, their tasks auto-claim. Tasks support reassignment with reason tracking and a full delegation chain history.
Team Connections
A new Team Connections page on the web dashboard shows the relationship between field leaders and store managers. The invite-code system now supports both store-specific and general team invites.
Birthday & Anniversary Notifications
OperatorOS now tracks team member birthdays and work anniversaries. You get a notification the evening before, and a celebrations card appears on the dashboard when something is coming up. Available on iOS, Android, and web.
AI Updates
Action Item Extraction
After completing a store visit, the AI can extract suggested action items from your notes and transcription. Each suggestion includes a title, category, priority, and due date. Accept the ones you want and they become tasks.
Completed Actions in AI Prompts
When the daily brief regenerates, it now receives a list of previously completed actions. The AI is instructed not to re-suggest items you've already handled or anything substantially similar.
Web Dashboard
The web dashboard received a design overhaul. Key pages (stores, team members, main dashboard) were redesigned. New additions: team connections page, keyboard shortcuts, role selection modal, and onboarding improvements.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a silent messaging failure caused by a missing Firestore composite index
- Fixed store manager team connection visibility
- Fixed task assignment navigation when using nested NavigationStack
